Vegetarian and Vegan cooking classes

The traditional Tuscan country cooking has many vegetarian dishes, from ribollita to pappa al pomodoro, from panzanella to a generous feast of fresh and seasonal products.

The vegetarian/vegan cooking class is a hands-on cooking class where you learn how to prepare an entire vegetarian meal from pasta dish to main dish and dessert. The cooking class is centered on seasonal vegetables and their individual unique characteristics and properties. Together with the chef you will discover new cooking methods or rediscover tried-and-true methods, and how to maintain the nutritional properties of each vegetable you utilize and satisfy your taste buds at the same time.

We usually start at 10:30 for lunch cooking classes and around 4:30 for dinner. Classes last about 3 hours. After the class… everybody at the table!

Note that because we only use fresh, seasonal ingredients from local suppliers and farms the menu will vary depending on what we find that day!

The price includes:

  • Three hours vegetarian/vegan hands-on cooking class creating a complete menu
  • Ingredients and wine
  • A Fagiolari apron and recipe book
  • Seated lunch or dinner with plenty of Chianti Classico wine.
